Growing up in restaurants and having held almost every position in the business, instilled a love and understanding of the food industry from an early age. While in college I worked in F&B editorial before diving into the world of startups working as a consultant for product development. A simultaneous food blog kept my love for food alive, until I joined the Test Kitchen team at CHOW.com. It was this experience that not only helped me to refine my culinary technique, but allowed me to fully understand how a recipe came together.

In 2011, I returned to New York to start Marianberry Cookies, an E-commerce brand selling a full line of all-natural cookies. Within 6 months, Marianberry was nationally distributed to one of the world’s largest high-end retailers.

My love of Italian cuisine sparked one trip that turned into many trips to Italy to explore different wine regions — my preferred way to travel, where there is good wine, there is good food. My travels to Italy were where my love for Italian culture deepened and my obsession with fresh pasta began and that was the beginning of New York City’s first fresh pasta fast casual concept.

Through that platform, I have been featured at the James Beard House and collaborated with culinary powerhouses, Katie Parla, Alison Roman and Gail Simmons. My travels through Italy have been documented by Food & Wine Magazine and some of my recipes can be seen in People Magazine, Shape and Vogue.com. Most recently, I competed for Barilla’s World Pasta Championship USA title at the Pebble Beach Food & Wine festival in April 2019.
